Visit The Best Islands of Coron In This Awesome Escapade Day Tour

[Read in 4 mins.]

The Philippines is blessed with so many amazing islands from north to south (Apari to Jolo) and even east to west. Palawan, the western most province of the country where Coron is located, is the same! Coron islets have Philippines’ natural beauty! With great weather, you will be mesmerized with the best tropical views your eyes will ever see. I island hopped from this awesome escapade day tour that I highly recommend you also book when you’re in Coron!

This is the last day activity in my 3 days Coron family trip! After an adventurous day 2 to explore the waters of Coron in the super ultimate day tour, it’s time to relax and experience the white sand beaches in an escapade tour to the best islands in Coron!

Coron Island Escapade Day Tour

The Coron Island Escapade Day Tour is the perfect island getaway tour to explore the best islets. Relax and unwind at the gorgeous remote Coron islands where the tour will take you. A full day tour with a very professional and knowledgeable guide that will give you details about the three islands you will visit.

There were four of us on the tour and the price was roughly 2,600 pax. A very good price considering the islands were far from the port and everything is included. It’s a full day tour and the hotel transfer pick-up and drop-off. It’s a really good tour package with snacks, water, and lunch provided. You get to eat amazing authentic Filipino food. The islands have facilities like nipa huts (bahay kubo in Tagalog), hammocks, and kayak to use on the beaches.

You’ll be visiting three islands and spend about 2 hours on each. It was long trop to the area but once you’re in the island group the travel times in each island were short. Pickup starts at 7:30 depending on the location of your accommodation and ends at 17:00 at the port. The travel time from the Coron Town Proper port to the islands is 2 hours. It was quite a long travel time but I think it was so much worth. It’s an all day laid back tour. Peace and quiet all day.

The Coron Islands

The islands are all really close to each other so more time spent on the islands. I did all the beach island activities like swim, nap, snorkel, kayak, and walk around. Though mostly did Eat Beach Sleep. Repeat.

The three islands are really close to each other.

What I loved about these islands is that they’re so secluded. All I heard were the waves of the super crystal clear waters. No car noise, busy streets. None of those. It was super relaxing. Definitely experienced legit island life. Everywhere and everything was so pretty that I’m so proud of the Philippines for maintaining these beautiful islands for anyone to appreciate. I felt so remote from the world like Cast Away remote.

The sun is strong so be prepared for that strong UV rays. Bring sunscreen, sun hat, umbrella if you’re that person. Or be like me and wear a UV waterguard suit.

Malcapuya Island

The first island you’ll visit in the tour is the Malcapuya Island. I was very excited to be on this island because it was my first ever remote island destination. On a white sand beach with spectacular tropical views. What in the world I’m so far away from civilization!!! When the boat docked I just went on the water and went on the beach, took lots of photos, and lied down. It was so small so I walked everywhere, napped everywhere, and swam everywhere. I don’t know about you but the sun was so strong and my body feels heavy and whenever I get that feeling I just want to lie down.

I snorkeled a bit but mostly I was taking photos of the island and myself on the island. lol. Some souvenir shots because I swear I ruin the photo. It should just the tropical views.

Super bright that I can’t see squat at Malcapuya Island.

Banana Island

Banana Island is where you will spend most of your time because this is where you be having your lunch. There will be other tours on the island at the same time I was there.

After lunch, I kayaked around the island as far as my balancing skills took me. I took a nap on the beach when my arms were tired then it was time to go relax some more on to the next island getaway.

Bulog Dos Island

The third and last island on the tour is the Bulog Dos Island. This one is unique from the others because it has a sand bar. What is a sand bar? It’s a stretch of sand that is very shallow created by the waves and it’s connected to the island. You can walk on it and feel the fine white sands of Coron. It was heaven walking on the sand bar and seeing the small island surrounded by azure blue waters with amazing sunny Philippines weather!

If you want to snorkel farther from the beach, you can rent one of the smaller boats to take you away from the coast and see more marine life.
